At the top level of a template that receives the `Site` object in context, these are equivalent:

```go-html-template
{{ .Site.Params.foo }}
{{ site.Params.foo }}
```

When the `Site` object is not in context, use the global `site` function:

```go-html-template
{{ site.Params.foo }}
```
